Vytara Wellness officially launched in Boca Raton, transforming an existing wellness space with a new identity, team culture, operating standards, technology and vision.
The Story Behind Vytara
A mother who never planned to enter wellness.
After her son was diagnosed with a serious health condition as a teenager, Vytara's founder, Umma Kannayan, Ed.D., began searching for responsible ways to support his health and quality of life alongside conventional medical care.
That journey introduced her to nutrition, recovery and emerging wellness technologies, and to the difficulty families often face when trying to separate credible possibilities from unsupported promises.
Years later, when a wellness clinic that had been part of her family's journey was facing closure, she stepped in. What began as an effort to preserve a place that had once given her family support became an opportunity to create something entirely new. She named it Vytara.
Today, Umma brings more than 18 years of executive leadership experience and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership to the company. Vytara remains rooted in the perspective that brought her here: behind every appointment is a person, and sometimes a family, looking for support, information and hope.
