What is EMS Training

Training on fast mode.

EMS stands for electrical muscle stimulation, and it works the way the name suggests: while you move through a coached workout, gentle electrical impulses stimulate your muscles, asking more of them in less time.

That is what makes EMS the fast version of training at Vytara. A session runs under thirty minutes start to finish, and it earns its keep: expect to sweat, and expect to feel the next day that the work was real.

Every session is run one-on-one by a health coach in our private gym, built around your goals and your fitness level, and your coach screens your health history before your first session.

How a session works

In and out in under thirty.

  1. i.

    Meet your coach

You start with your health coach: your goals, your history, and what the session should do for you today.

  2. ii.

    The workout

You train for about thirty minutes while the stimulation works with every movement. It is a genuine workout in a compressed window, and you will sweat like it.

  3. iii.

    Next steps

You close with a quick word on progress and what comes next. Many guests step straight into red light or hyperbaric oxygen while they are here.

Who it's for

Built for busy schedules.

EMS is for anyone who wants a real workout and does not have an hour to give it.

Time
The packed calendar

Less than thirty minutes to train, most days. EMS fits a complete, coached workout into the window you actually have.

Effort
The efficiency seeker

You want the time you spend to count. Guests consistently report next-day soreness and the sense that the session really did something.

Recovery
The therapy stacker

Because the workout is short, it pairs naturally with red light or hyperbaric oxygen in the same visit.

The Vytara approach

The fast version, done properly.

Short does not mean casual. EMS at Vytara is coached, screened, and paired with recovery like everything else in the studio.

  1. i.

    Coached, start to finish

A health coach runs every session one-on-one, from setup through cooldown. You are never left to figure it out alone.

  2. ii.

    Fast by design

The format exists for guests who cannot give training an hour. Under thirty minutes is the whole point, and the intensity is scaled to your level.

  3. iii.

    Recovery on tap

Red light and hyperbaric oxygen live steps away, so the studio's recovery therapies can follow the workout in the same visit.

Good to know

A real workout, with real screening.

Because EMS uses electrical stimulation, it is not for everyone: guests with implanted electrical devices, such as pacemakers, are not able to train with EMS. Your coach reviews your health history before your first session, and if EMS is not your fit, the studio has other ways to train.

For everyone else, expect an honest workout: sweat during, and often a satisfying soreness the day after.

What you'll feel

Elevated heart rate, real exertion, and a good sweat, scaled to your fitness level. Most guests feel it the next day.

Who we screen

Anyone with an implanted electrical device, such as a pacemaker, cannot train with EMS. Screening happens before your first session.

Who runs it

A health coach, one-on-one, for the entire session.

Membership fit

How EMS works with your membership.

EMS Training runs separately from the monthly credit menu, and the team shares session pricing with you at the studio.

Session-based training

Priced at your visit

If you are a member or considering membership, our team will walk you through how EMS fits alongside it, including pairing sessions with the recovery therapies on your credit menu.
