What is IV Therapy

Nutrients, delivered directly to where they work.

An IV infusion places vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants straight into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system entirely. The result is bioavailability that oral supplements can't reach. That matters most for compounds like glutathione, NAD+, and high-dose vitamin C, which are poorly absorbed when swallowed.

Each session runs anywhere from 10 to 90 minutes in a private room, depending on whether you are in for a quick push or a full bag. A clinician reviews your history, places the line, and stays with you for the duration. We sometimes run red light therapy during the drip to support absorption. You can read, work, or rest; the session ends when the bag is empty, with no recovery window.

What's in the bag depends on the protocol. Our menu spans hydration and recovery on one end and longevity-focused formulations like NAD+ on the other. Custom blends are routine when the standard menu doesn't fit.

Not every infusion has to be a slow drip. Most of our formulas can be given as an IV Push: the same nutrients by syringe in about ten minutes instead of the full session, with less of the saline that is mostly hydration. The push suits busy days and travel; the full bag is the move when you want real hydration or you are run down and fighting something.

Who it's for

Four reasons people come back.

Most members work IV into a broader protocol. A few cases below, drawn from how our guests actually use this service.

Performance
The traveling executive

Multi-leg weeks, time-zone churn, missed sleep. Hydration + Recovery on landing day; Immune layered in during high-load months.

Recovery
The trained athlete between cycles

Recovery drip 24 to 48 hours post-event. Amino + glutathione moves the soreness curve and lowers inflammatory load without anti-inflammatories.

Restore
The post-illness rebuild

After a viral hit, an antibiotics course, or a longer environmental exposure. One guest dealing with mold ran a weekly Glutathione IV alongside Blood Ozone and felt notably better over the series.

Longevity
The longevity-focused member

NAD+ on a cycle (weekly run, then maintenance), Glutathione weekly between, plus a quarterly check-in with the clinical team to adjust.

The Vytara approach

What separates a real protocol from a pre-bagged drip.

Most IV clinics in this market work like a drive-through. Pre-bagged formulations, no clinical review, a nurse swapping needles between rooms. That's not what we do, and the difference matters more than most guests realize when they're booking.

  1. i.

    Clinical oversight

Every formulation, including custom blends, goes through clinical review before it's mixed. Your session is run by trained professionals, working from established protocols.

  2. ii.

Sterile compounding pharmacy, not pre-bagged inventory

Formulations are compounded for the day's bookings, not sitting in a clinic fridge for a week. This matters most for compounds with shorter stability windows like NAD+ and certain amino blends, where pre-bagged inventory means degraded potency before it hits the line.

  3. iii.

Custom blends are routine, not a special request

If your protocol calls for something the standard menu doesn't cover, like a higher-dose Mg, an amino split, or a specific antioxidant stack, we mix it. Custom is a membership benefit, not a markup. The trade-off is a short clinical consult before the first custom session so we get it right.

  4. iv.

Layering with the broader therapy stack

IV pairs well with several of our other modalities: Ozone for oxidative load, Peptide protocols for targeted signaling, Red Light or Roxiva for parasympathetic reset, and PEMF or Ballancer Pro for circulation and recovery. We sequence layered sessions in the order that makes physiological sense, not the order that fills the schedule.

Evidence & safety

What IV therapy does, and what it doesn't.

IV Therapy has been routine in hospital medicine for half a century. The wellness application is a tighter slice of the same playbook: same access points, same sterile technique, smaller and more targeted formulations. The risk profile is well-characterized for healthy adults receiving standard infusions; it changes if you have specific conditions or are taking certain medications, which is why we screen.

The published evidence is strongest for hydration, certain micronutrient replacements, and high-dose vitamin C in specific clinical uses. Evidence for NAD+ as an anti-aging therapy is still emerging, so it belongs in a protocol as supportive rather than established.

What we screen for

We don't treat anyone under 18, and if you are actively contagious we will have you come back once you are past it. We review your full history and current medications at intake, which takes about ten minutes. If anything looks off-protocol, our clinical team reviews before the session.

What you might feel

Most guests feel nothing during a standard drip beyond mild coolness at the access site. Formulas with B vitamins can bring a brief warm flush. NAD+ is the exception: it can cause flushing and some dizziness at faster rates, which is why we run it slow (90 minutes minimum) and adjust to tolerance.

Who runs your session

Your IV formulas are developed and reviewed by licensed clinicians, and your session is run by trained professionals. A custom or NAD+ protocol is never self-serve.
